Finished industrial epoxy floor with lane striping
    EPOXY FLOORING

    INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL
    EPOXY FLOORING

Seamless, durable floor systems engineered for warehouses, distribution centers, food service, and heavy daily use across South Florida.

    FLOORS BUILT TO WORK
    AS HARD AS YOU DO

Industrial and commercial epoxy flooring is a seamless, durable coating system installed over properly prepared concrete to handle forklifts, foot traffic, chemicals, impact, and the daily abuse of a working facility. The system is matched to how the floor will actually be used, and the surface preparation underneath is what makes it last.

    Systems we install:

    • Quartz broadcast systems. Slip-resistant and durable, ideal for food service and wet environments.
    • Solid epoxy. Clean, tough, seamless surface for general industrial and commercial use.
    • Flake systems. Decorative and functional with built-in texture and grip.
    • Urethane and high-performance topcoats. Added chemical and abrasion resistance.
    • Safety striping and markings. Lane lines, zones, and compliance markings.

Who it's for: Warehouse and facility owners, operations managers, and commercial property owners across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach. We handle big square footage and work around your operating schedule.

    RATED FOR THE TRAFFIC

    PEDESTRIAN AND VEHICULAR EPOXY COATINGS

Every coating we install is rated for the traffic it will carry. Pedestrian coatings are engineered for foot traffic. Vehicular coatings are engineered to handle the weight, turning wheels, and abrasion of cars, trucks, and forklifts. Kong matches the system to the load, the environment, and the exposure, so the floor performs for years instead of failing in months.

    PEDESTRIAN COATINGS

A pedestrian coating is a seamless, slip-resistant epoxy or urethane system rated for foot traffic. It waterproofs and protects walkways, catwalks, balconies, and decks while giving people a safe, durable surface to walk on, indoors or exposed to South Florida weather.

    • Walkways and breezeways
    • Catwalks and elevated platforms
    • Sidewalks and exterior paths
    • Pool decks and sun decks
    • Balconies and terraces
    • Stairs and landings

    VEHICULAR COATINGS

A vehicular coating is a heavy-duty, traffic-bearing epoxy or urethane system rated for vehicle loads. It resists tire wear, turning forces, hot tires, oil, and fuel while waterproofing the slab underneath, built for garages, ramps, and drive lanes that never get a day off.

    • Parking garages and decks
    • Ramps and drive lanes
    • Loading docks and service bays
    • Auto shops and dealerships
    • Forklift and equipment routes
    • Aircraft hangars

    SEAMLESS AND SANITARY

WHY FOOD SERVICE FLOORS ARE MOVING FROM TILE TO EPOXY

Tile floors have a hygiene problem. Grout joints and the adhesive under tile trap moisture and harbor bacteria, no matter how hard the cleaning crew works. Epoxy solves it with one seamless, fully sealed surface with nowhere for bacteria to hide. That is why commercial kitchens, food and beverage plants, and packaging facilities across South Florida are replacing tile with resinous flooring.

BUILT FOR FOOD SERVICE AND CLEAN ENVIRONMENTS

Kong installs seamless epoxy and urethane systems for environments where sanitation is not optional. The floor cleans fast, stands up to hot water washdowns and cleaning chemicals, and eliminates the grout lines where contamination starts. We match the system to your operation and your inspection requirements.

    • Commercial kitchens and restaurants
    • Food and beverage production
    • Food packaging and preparation
    • Fish, meat, and cold storage facilities
    • Breweries and bottling
    • Pharmaceutical and clean spaces

    MATCHED TO THE ABUSE LEVEL

Epoxy is not one product. We build the floor to the thickness your operation demands.

    THIN-MIL COATINGS

    4 to 30 mils

Clean, seamless protection for moderate-duty commercial and industrial floors.

    EPOXY SLURRIES AND BROADCASTS

    30 to 250 mils

Thicker builds with quartz or aggregate for wet areas, heavy traffic, and daily washdowns.

    EPOXY AND URETHANE MORTARS

    Maximum build

Trowel-applied, aggregate-loaded systems for the harshest environments, thermal shock, and constant abuse.

The thicker the build, the harder the floor works. We spec the system to what your floor actually goes through.

    THE INSTALLATION

    Our Epoxy Flooring Process

    01

    Assessment

We evaluate the slab, the environment, and how the floor will be used to spec the right system.

    02

    Surface Preparation

We mechanically grind or shot-blast the concrete to the correct profile so the system bonds permanently.

    03

    Repair, Primer and Base

We fix cracks, joints, and surface damage, then apply the primer and base coat for the specified system.

    04

    Broadcast or Build Coats

We install quartz, flake, or solid build coats depending on the system.

    05

    Top Coat

We seal with a durable, chemical-resistant, and slip-rated top coat.

We add safety lane striping, markings, and zones as needed.

    GOT QUESTIONS

    Commercial Epoxy Flooring FAQs

A professionally installed epoxy system over properly prepared concrete can last many years under heavy use. The lifespan depends on the system, the traffic, and above all the quality of the surface preparation.

Epoxy bonds to the profile of the concrete, not just the surface. If the slab is not mechanically ground or shot-blasted correctly, the floor will peel and fail. Proper prep is the single biggest factor in a floor that lasts.

In most cases, yes. We phase the work and use off-hours scheduling so your facility keeps running while we install.

It depends on how the floor is used. Food service and wet areas usually call for slip-resistant quartz systems, while general industrial use may call for solid epoxy or urethane top coats. We spec the system to your environment.

Yes. We install lane lines, zones, and compliance markings as part of the project.

We serve Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

The load rating. Pedestrian coatings are built for foot traffic on walkways, catwalks, decks, and balconies. Vehicular coatings are thicker, traffic-bearing systems built to handle the weight, turning wheels, and abrasion of cars, trucks, and forklifts in garages, ramps, and drive lanes. Installing a pedestrian system where vehicles drive is why many coatings fail early.

Yes. Both systems seal the slab against water intrusion while providing a wearing surface. On exposed structures like parking decks, balconies, and catwalks, the coating is often the primary waterproofing layer, which is why the system has to match both the traffic and the exposure.

Yes. We install seamless systems rated for food and beverage production, chemical exposure, and corrosive environments. Unlike tile, where grout joints and adhesive can harbor bacteria, a seamless epoxy or urethane floor is fully sealed with nowhere for contamination to hide, and it stands up to hot washdowns and cleaning chemicals.

In many cases, yes. A worn resinous floor does not always need to be ripped out. If the existing system is sound and properly prepared, we can rejuvenate it with new build and finish coats, which saves demolition cost and keeps the old floor out of a landfill. We assess the existing floor first and tell you honestly whether recoating or removal is the right call.

It depends on the abuse the floor takes. Thin-mil coatings run about 4 to 30 mils for moderate-duty spaces. Slurry and broadcast systems build 30 to 250 mils for wet areas and heavy traffic. Trowel-applied mortars go thicker still for the harshest environments. Greater thickness means greater durability, and we spec the build to your operation.
